Coached Pool Swims for Triathlon: Small Group Swim Training for men and women includes freestyle swim development led by a professional swim coach. Focus on building distance and endurance through interval sets at variable intensities. We accommodate athletes training for sprint - Ironman race distances. Not interested in triathlons but would like to keep your competitive juices flowing... how about a swim meet? This year Swim Velocity members will have the opportunity to complete in swim meets. Whether you are training for a competition or just staying fit, we welcome you!
Triathlon Team Group Brick: Pool Swim/Run: Group Swim offers coaching on the foundations of freestyle swimming as they relate to triathlon preparation with intervals for speed and endurance. Depending on your time of arrival, you can run on a partly dirt trail and paved path.
Triathlon Training - Brick: Depending on the weather we are planning to cycle+run in at a beautiful venue! However, rain is predicted and if it does, we will have another "Trainer" session + run at Lisa's in Ladera. (An email will sent to verify the venue and details).
We will be doing functional training at the YMCA to work on our strength for swim,bike,run . Just bring water and a small towel. Sunday is a long run focusing on our muscular endurance with some strong effort at the end of the run. Run time is between 60-90 minutes. Athletes should bring their nutrition to practice what they plan to do in their races.
You are welcome to arrive early for set-up and preparation so we can use out time in the room to maximum advantage.
Water - 2 bottles
This class is for TriLaVie Team Members and to TLV Club members ($10 drop-in fee). Also upon availability, these classes are open up to friends and family ($15 drop-in fee).
Run at Crystal Cove State Beach: This is one of Orange County's most spectacular beaches! Run along the paved path, past the Beach Comber restaurant and the Cottages. Optional sand running, some cliffs. Guarantee of amazing views and ocean breezes!
Indoor Cycling/Spin and Run. Here come the rain again... so join us for an AMAZING training on your own bike then run off the bike (optional). If you were not able to make it to our last spin session you won't want to miss out this week! It is superior training for triathlon, cycling and general fitness.
