Focus on building distance and endurance through interval sets at variable intensities. We accommodate athletes training for sprint - Ironman race distances. Not interested in triathlons but would like to keep your competitive juices flowing... how about a swim meet? This year Swim Velocity members will have the opportunity to complete in swim meets. Whether you are training for a competition or just staying fit, we welcome you!
Triathlon Team Group Brick: Pool Swim/Run: Group Swim offers coaching on the foundations of freestyle swimming as they relate to triathlon preparation with intervals for speed and endurance. Based on your arrival, option to run on a partly dirt trail and paved path before the swim workout.
Run to Lake Mission Viejo: This is a great venue and a fun training run for all athletes. We will be running the OC International Triathlon run route from T2 ( El Toro Bike path) to Lake Mission Viejo with specific run techniques.
OC Swim Series Event. This event is sponsored by OC Triathlon's Race Reach, it is a unique opportunity to do a 1-mile or 2-mile swim at Lake Mission Viejo outside the swim buoys. Additional Fee and sign up online. You can also ride to Santiago Canyon from the lake. This is an optional training day (uncoached) for those who want a great opportunity to swim the lake and ride through Santiago Canyon.
